What to Expect in a Session
Sessions with Janice are grounded, relational, and trauma-informed, with a focus on nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and the gentle release of stress and tension held within the body.
Rather than traditional talk therapy, sessions begin with a brief conversation to explore what is currently present and what may be ready to shift, process, or release. From there, the work becomes more experiential and body-based, supporting clients in slowing down and becoming more aware of sensations, patterns, and responses within the body.
Depending on individual needs, sessions may incorporate somatic awareness, Healing Touch, therapeutic clinical aromatherapy, polarity therapy, Reiki, Aromatic Touch, guided energetic practices, and shamanic or earth-based healing approaches.
The work is paced carefully to support safety, grounding, and integration. Many clients describe experiencing a sense of softening, quieting, increased coherence, emotional release, or deeper connection to themselves.
Sessions are designed to complement—not replace—appropriate medical or mental health care and may be used alongside ongoing therapeutic support when appropriate.
